Laryngeal Epithelial Cells, Primary
Product Description
Lifeline® Normal Human Laryngeal Epithelial Cells are Primary Cells directly cultured from their source organ tissue. They have not been modified in any way, to avoid altering the outcome of your experiments. Lifeline Primary Cells come from a wide variety of donors without the accumulated mutations found in immortal cell lines.
When grown in Lifeline BronchiaLife™ Epithelial Medium, Primary Laryngeal Cells provide an ideal serum-free culture model for the study of respiratory infection, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cystic fibrosis, response to inflammation, and the damaging effects of smoking.
Laryngeal Epithelial Cells are cultured without retinoic acid and cryopreserved as primary cells to ensure the highest viability and plating efficiency.
All Lifeline Human Epithelial Cells are quality tested in BronchiaLife Medium to ensure proper growth and morphology over a period of at least 15 population doublings. Lifeline Primary Epithelial Cells are not exposed to antimicrobials or phenol red.
- Sterility Testing: Negative for mycoplasma, bacterial and fungal growth
