OcuLife^TM cell culture medium is optimized specifically for the culture of Human Primary Corneal Epithelial Cells. OcuLife supports the growth of these Primary Cells over a period of at least three passages.

Primary Corneal Epithelial Cells cultured in OcuLife medium out-perform Primary Cells grown in any similar medium. 

You’ll get consistently reproducible results with OcuLife Medium — because it’s balanced and supplemented expressly for Primary Corneal Epithelial Cells to maximize that individual cell type’s life expectancy.

• Primary Corneal Epithelial Cells will plate better using OcuLife Culture Medium (as compared to our nearest competitors’ media or traditional high-serum media)
• Primary Cells will grow more quickly in OcuLife medium than in other commercially-available media
• Primary Epithelial Cells will maintain better morphology when cultured in OcuLife medium

OcuLife  Basal Medium contains no antimicrobials and no phenol red. Lifeline offers antimicrobials and phenol red, but they are not required for eukaryotic cell proliferation.

• Kit format for formulation flexibility: Offered in a kit format composed of basal medium and associated supplements and growth factors called LifeFactors. This kit allows you to prepare fresh medium in your laboratory, extending shelf life and enhancing performance.
• Protective packaging: OcuLife Basal Medium is provided in a light-protected 500 mL bottle. The remaining LifeFactors are packaged in a convenient gas-impermeable pouch for easy storage.

OcuLife Medium grows Human Primary Corneal Epithelial Cells with optimal morphology over a period of at least three passages. In comparisons with other commercially available media, OcuLife shows superior proliferation at different seeding densities.
